Over the past 22 years, the dedicated
members and committee of Club Vee Dub Sydney Inc have been hosting The VW
Nationals. Next year we will be celebrating the show’s twenty first birthday.
From this year we have elected to move the show away from the traditional
Easter Holiday weekend.
This will allow our members to take advantage of this break as an actual holiday, or attend religious functions without any interruptions from the running of the show. This move will also offer advantages to our organising committee, give more time for sponsors to support the event, and allow a longer lead time in producing the show and organising the necessary support items for the event. The new date for the VW Nationals 2009 show and shine will be Sunday May 25th, and for the following years will continue to be the fourth Sunday in May. Hopefully moving to this weekend will also allow many interstaters more flexibility to attend. Several new plans are underway to make the event a full Volkswagen weekend. Price structures and sponsorship will remain the same where possible, thus creating a value packed weekend and show. We look forward to seeing you all at the VW Nationals May 2009. |

Now in its 21st great year, the VW Nationals has become the event for all VW and Audi Owners.
See the most immaculate array of models from just about every production year. Enter your car in one of the categories below or just come and look.
It’s the event for the enthusiast and all the family. Heaps of events all weekend with Sunday the big ‘Show and Shine' day.
You don't have to be a member to enjoy VW Nationals or to enter any event. Club VeeDub Sydney inc. is centred in Sydney with independent branches in many centres of NSW and ACT. The benefits of membership are plenty:

Our club magazine (Zeitschrift) has won awards for being the best. Sunday 24th May. Show & Shine at Fairfield Showgrounds, Smithfield Road, Prairiewood. Huge undercover area for Show & Shine, Dealer Displays and Swapmeet.
Gates open a 8 am. Please note, if want a good position get there early, if want to park with your mate, get there early. Car show entries close at 11am, presentation is around 3pm.
Entry fee is again $10.00, children under 16 free. Swapmeet sites are $20.00 each and are under cover. Car show entry is $15.00 per category, maximum of 2 categories per car.
Because VW Nationals seems to get bigger and better every year, VW Nationals 2008 Show and Shine will again be held at Fairfield Showground, a much larger venue with space for up to 200 show cars undercover.
On site catering available with plenty of everything.
