Dubstitute 2012

Sunday 29th of January and Como Park in Melbourne was set to host the Dubstitute Show (the temporary replacement to South East Dub Fest (SEDF) that has run the last couple of years).  This show is put together by some of the Melbourne boys who have an amazing amount of  love for the scene and everything VAG.  When it looked like SEDF wasn't going to run these boys stepped up and organised a replacement and with a little help from the VW Club of Victoria it all came together for a great day.  While I'm sure I will miss some, the main people involved were Stu, Josh, Ryan, Woody and Jarred.

As with any good show there was an interstate audience with people travelling in from all over the place for the weekend, crazy people like me and my brother in law made the run from Sydney to spend 24hours dubbing it up on the Saturday cruise to Volkwerke and the show itself on Sunday.

The thread on VWWatercooled starting from the wrap-up and photos & Videos can be found here.

It was a truly awesome weekend and yet another example of that never say die spirit that drives our community.
